upgraded to 8.03 and now I miss the old layout of thumbs

Is there any way to get back the user and information on the photos. I love the gallery layout but dont like the category underneath. I would prefer the old way where you show username , file size etc....

where would I start looking.

I am really not sure what your talking about. The category layout is however you set it to be.

A Category - Omegatron Gallery

If you set in Admin => Edit Categories for the display to be gallery then it will show how my link test site shows.

ok chuck

I had issues with categories and had to restore from backup. So perhaps this is my issue. I will look at it more. Can you be more specific though. my choices are photo gallery and member gallery.

not sure I understand you.

I have tried the forum layout and gallery layout. the only difference seems to be that the catalog shows up top or to the left. With the 7.03 version under each photo you could control what showed up such as user name that took the photo etc.. that is what I am looking for.

That is a very old display that few ever used and was discontinued in PhotoPost 8. It had severe limitations like showing multiple levels of categories etc. That actually was an early style look from the initial Pro release like Pro 3.0

You can try setting your view to forum style under admin index options and try uploading this template to the gallery templates folder if this is a standalone.

There is no such existing variable in the display_gallery function. You would need to define something like that.
