Missing "Click on image to view larger image"

Okay, think I am overlooking something thats probably obvious to everyone else. No matter what settings I set when I have an image larger than the medium photo settings I do not see anywhere the "click on image to view larger images" text that I see working on other sites.

My medium settings:

Trigger medium graphic height and width - 700

I upload a photo 1224 x 768, the medium image is created. I can click on the image and it does open up in another window to the exact size of 1224 x 768.

Just do not see the click on image to view larger image stuff at all and need that so members know to see photos large size.

This is a fresh install of 8.0.3

Cant add a link to the gallery as the site is private per owners wishes right now.

well in the old days when medium and large images where shown on the same page there use to be a link but that was some time ago.

You can edit your showphoto template and to the right of the variable $imgdisp try placing $altlink. See if that helps you.

Thanks Chuck for the $altlink info. Played around with the template and I have it showing right under the photo. Works good and it will help stop members asking why they cant see their full size image.
