| Bug ?
I am not sure if this is a bug or you intended it to be like this..
here are 2 screenshots
shot1 of pp7
and the other of pp8..shot2
the date and time ... and post # being way at the bottom under the sig..
anyway I would like move it above where it was before in pp7
here I go again
this is for sure a bug
I justed clicked edit (typo) and it's full of HTML...
after it's edited and then saved.. all the html is still there
and the post format is in a straight line, when it wasn't 3 lines before
oh and the br tag is <br> in stead of <br /> in that html code it was showing...

yes things are suppose to show how they show in PP 8 as things are not like they use to be. the template is showcomments if you want to edit it.

No it is not different templates. The edit is showcomments template it is all ajax has nothing to do with vbulletin.
I tried on several sites works fine. You know your being really secretive about your site here.

Are you for real with that comment above. I posted a test link before you I even posted my reply. my acura tl - PhotoPost Photo Gallery
I have no idea what your doing to get your action because you appear to not be entering the normal bbcode smilie things which could be your issue.
I edited a comment and type a colon or semi colon and a right bracket and hit save. Thats all I do it works fine and I even edited your comment you made and it works fine as well.
So the real answer here is what are you entering or doing so different than I am.

I did not mean add a smile...
make a post with a smile in IT then hit edit!
then do nothing but save,
I entered lol or Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I forget, then I hit edit
then did NOTHING but save and thats the result .......
So I edit a post WITH a smile in it and save thats what happens..
and I hit edit and save
look again...
so I have to remove the image html and add the bbcode again . LMFAO

| yes always helps to explain what your doing.
Your post told me to edit and do a smilie is how I took it.
Most likely thats an issue with the ajax in showcomments. You can try this little edit in showcomments template you see this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
change it to this and test Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

well I can understand if I did not explain it correctly
and you did not under stand I guess I will have to put it in simple terms
I'm not going to get into it as long as we are in the same book..
Will take time to be on the same page...
but we will get there ...
will test the above and get back to you

Have you edited the correct template?
This is why I have asked for a site link several times. It is like providing support with blinders on.
If you do the edit I have stated to do on the proper template when you hit edit it will bring up the full comments script not the ajax inline edit thing like it is now.

what I am saying is if you have edited the template and uploaded it then the edit link goes to the comments.php file.

Not sure why your posting our php scripts here that is definately not allowed so I removed it.
I tested what I have posted. if you make the edit i suggested when you hit edit then instead of using that inline ajax edit thing your comment is edited in the full comments form.
what happens when you hit edit.
