So lets go through this one last time. Maybe I am not being plain enough explaining this.

We only have control over our software we write and how it operates. This is what we support.

We have options in our software like the ability to embed video in a page or if you have ffmpeg on your server to create a thumbnail.

We make no guarantees some other product code is going to work on all instances everywhere. That is not practical. It is much like the flash uploader. We include it but we do not support it will work everywhere.

We make no guarantees ffmpeg is going to make a thumbnail for every video you upload that is not our software that is a server level program. The same goes for any of the embedded video player. We do not manufacter quicktime.

Your expecting me to provide you an instant answer on a piece of software we do not write here.

Does this make sense yet here. I can not tell you anymore than I know already. We embed a quicktime player and we do it how every tutorial states to do it. This type of issue will take awhile and I will post in this thread when I see what I can find.

Here is a edited template that you can use this should show the download link till I can find out why quicktime software is not working.

I understand fully.................. but ffmpeg is working ... making thumbnails..
flash player works fine...
and if thye didn't works I know from other posts you do not support them..
this is not the issue in my eyes
they are displaying like they should.................... in other parts of the gallery

except in the recent pal....
so in my eyes this is not ffmpeg because all it does it make the thumbsnail from the media YOUR software / code is displaying the thumbnails..!

they worked fine in pp7

as far as quick time I dont care about it ass much as WHY the code you wrote is not calling the thumbnail...

I am not looking for the embedded player .. I did not even now there was suck things..

windows media player will play .mov so I can simply change the code to use that ... but thats not the point here

take your time wit hthe quick time issue ...
the thumbnail in recent commet In the other thread is the most important thing ATM

thanks

Hippy I showed you via a link right to my site that my recent comments are working fine with video.

I have asked several times for specific site information. I would need to debug your site and see what exactly is going on as to why yours is not working.

The domain name your telling us photopost is at appears to not be correct.

You can send site info through the contact us link.
