Can I rename a file safely in the Data folder? I have several files in the data folder that are causing me issues; what happens is that on the server files are case sensitive. So they can have the same name but a different case and they are OK coexisting b/c it's a linux server E.g. Stratton1.JPG and stratton1.jpg are two different files. When I do site backups every three days though, these cause errors in Syncback, because my home Windows PC won't let me have two files with the same name. Can I rename a file in the Data directory or will that blow everything up? |
The filename has to be exact in the database as it is on disk if you do not want any issues. |
