I want to change the size of the thumbnail
Photos on feature photo page.

Your thumbnail size for thumbnails on the gallery are set under your thumbnail threshold in upload options in admin.

In Admin/ Upload Photo Options. Changed them to
Thumb 300
Max width 750
Max height 1500

No change at all.

No there would not be a change to thumbnails that already exist. You would need to use the rebuild thumbnails option under admin scan database to rebuild images.
