| Album Box
Hey Chuck,
Can you take a look here: Other PC Systems/Builds - Alienware Owners Photo Gallery
What is that empty albums box above the Photos box? How do I remove that? I already have a Albums box below that has the albums in it.
Thanks

Interesting you can send site info if you want but I have an assigned album I tested here and things appear fine from what I can see

My link is the same as it always is using 8.01 so definately something about your data. I would have to run the query in phpmyadmin to see whats being returned.
The only way that albums box is going to appear there is if your $albums count is greater than 0.
My suggestion to is to download the code and upload EVERYTHING except the 2 config files.
I mean my site and yours are both vb4 so we need to rule out the files.

I uploaded all the files from the 8.01 package last night, except for the data folder and both config files.
After I created a new product plugin and re-applied it in the vb adminCP, I removed the documentation folder and its contains, install and upgrade php files, and all forum and language files that I do not use.
It's got to be a setting maybe?

Like I said I do not know. I would actually have to see your site and debug things. Print out debug info in the files issue the query directly in phpmyadmin to see what results come.
Like I said the albums template above only appears if $albums is not empty. Your subalbums are appearing like they should and show on my site but for some reason on your site the empty box appears.

I would need all info vb login ftp login as well as link and login to view the database.
Clearly the issue here is we need to find out why your specific site look like that.
Here is yet another test A Category - PhotoPost Photo Gallery
Here are two specific tests I have done with the info you have provided which is assigned albums as subalbums to a category and I do not get an empty album template above.
So this is site specific.

You think I have to re-do the Product Plugin since the new files were uploaded? I notice that the Feature Photos box on the the Forum Index is pulling weird category names. Alienware Forums |
