| Thumbnail Borders like on reeftalk.com
Hi Chuck,
Could you tell me what I need to do to get borders on my thumbnails like those you have on reeftalk.com?
Regards, Lee

what are you referring to? My site is merely using the default PhotoPost Pro 8 install with vbulletin 4.

My thumbnail is set to Thumbnail in Layout Options (see enclosed picture).

I get that page when trying to view the url you posted.
take note my site uses vb 4.1.10 and uses the vb4 style if your not using vbulletin its not going to look like my site.

Hi Chuck,
The website is back up and running now if you would care to take a look.
As I said, I don't seem to be able to get the borders like you have.

yes the site is functional but not like I can see much.
The thumbnail border setting in admin has nothing to do with vb4 and how that style is that setting is only for standalone installs.

Hi Chuck,
I've opened up the gallery now so you can view everything you wish.
I didn't realise the setting you describe wouldn't function if using the vB4 style.
I too am using v4.1.10, but I never sen the border like you have on your thumbnails.
Regards, Lee

The border around the enlarged photo (that you linked to above) are exactly what I'd like to place around all of my thumbnails (such as those displayed in "Most Recent . Most Popular Images . Random" main & sidebars). At the moment they are totally borderless.
Could you explain "the class used or matched is picture background"? Sorry, but I don't understand what you are referring to.
Regards, Lee

I've just taken a look at reeftalk to grab a quick picture to illustrate, but your thumbnails have changed since a week ago!
Essentially, it was the same border your have (as standard) around the pictures when they are shown within the gallery. See enclosed.
I'm using vB 4.1.10

Maybe in your photopost.css template find the vgbimgbit class part and try making yours this? Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Hi Chuck,
Amended product-pppro.xml, uploaded again via Product Manager in vB and hey presto, just what I wanted!
Thank you very much, it worked perfectly!
Have a nice day!
Regards, Lee

Had the same question and issue... fixed it by editing the CSS file as Chucked mentioned.
