| Comments Pal & Online Pal
There doesn't seem to be a switch to show just the online pal under the categories. The only thing I could come up with is this edit in the undercat-sidebar.tmpl, removed the red text. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

That is correct there if your using the undercats pal which explicitly states that shows the comments pal you can not separate out the online pal.
None of this changed in PP8

| Comments Template
I think this is missing a br/ (see pic) I added one here in the showcomments.tmpl and it fixed it... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The vB WYSIWYG editor does not show up when switched on on the INT.php
And two links do nothing...any ideas?
Found some outdated code. The vb images are all .png now except for the separator.gif. I changed them to .png but the still did not show up. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The HTML links do not show in the Additional Info box when turned on. I checked out your ReefTalk site, you might be able to see everything I am talking about if you switch to the forum layout.
Sorry for all of this... just reporting as I find it.

The vb quick reply editor is not coded to show up in our application.
The editor is definately not what your posting in vb4. Maybe you have not uploaded all the new files. The quickcom40 template has no references to the vb editor.

You think you can switch your reeftalk over to these two settings to see exactly what I mean for the quick comments box? I checked and all files are uploaded. Also those two links.. BB Code legend ,Smilies legend do nothing. There is a javascript error about #ppmdir not defined.
Integration Scenerio 1 (broken images with this one)
ON
OFF
OFF
Integration Scenerio 2 (nothing happens here)
ON
ON
OFF <- Leaving this off because it doesn't apply to VB4 correct???

My reeftalk settings have always been all switches on. The point I am making here is the quickcom40 template has nothing to do with vb quick reply look at the contents of that file.
Maybe try making sure your quickcom template is the same contents as the quickcom40 template
You must set the second thing to on if your trying to use vb stuff. Ideally none of those 3 switches should ever be off if you ask me.

My quickcom and quickcom40 are different. 9.28kb vs 3.44kb in size. Should I copy the quickcom to the quickcom40 or the other way?

The other way you can copy quickcom40 to quickcom.
Basically since we are dealing with vb4 we use quickcom40 but maybe you turning those switches off is trying to use the old style quickcom template instead.

ok, I will try that, I have all the switches on now.
UPDATE:
Ok, i tried it....this is what I have
The BB Code legend & Smilies legend links do nothing. (same as the Help link on the Photo Upload page.) Tried in IE, FF, and Chrome, with all plugins installed.
The comment posting time is wrong, but the photo upload time is correct. My GMT Offset is set to -5 for the Gallery just like the forum.

well I will try out the help links maybe a java conflict
we handle time in pp the same all way round and in fact vb does time differently
You want to add in the admin GMT timesetting the time from your server to GMT 0 london time. That is how vb does time from london no matter what and there time offset is from 0 gmt
so say if your server is in new york which is -5 gmt you place a positive 5 in the gmt setting in admin of photopost.

OK, I changed the -5 to 5 in the PP admin and now the upload and comment times are the same.
Please let me know about those links not working.
Thanks!

Great thanks! The Help link on the upload page is working now. How about the two links in the quick comment box? They still do nothing.

They didn't so I just removed them. Tweaked the text area postion, and the language file. It working for me now. Simple and clean. Kind of matches the CMS quick comment box minus the full editor.
EDIT, I had the wrong file attached. Fixed.
