Removing Recent thumbs in every gallery

Just lost ten years of work when my host pulled the plug

Have reinstalled Photopost on new server, everything went a dream.

My problem is, I want and have got three rows of thumbnails of recent posts on the index page, location bottom.

But I'm also getting them in EVERY gallery, which I don't want, location top.

Just cannot find what's causing this or how to stop it. I know it's going to be something simple and I'm going to look a plonker.

Found it, though it wasn't at all obvious:

"Display Featured Photos on this page?
On larger sites this option can slow down the showgallery page. Turn off to speed up this page."

Set to no. Wasn't obvious that that referred to the recent photos thumbs appearing in galleries.

The option your referring to is the switch to display featured photos block on the showgallery and showphoto pages.

Not sure how much more obvious we could make that there.

Well, I can be a bit thick, I was looking for something saying "recent photos" .... anyway, moving on, one benefit of starting again from scratch is I've learnt a lot more about how to use some of the extra features, such as custom side panels. It's all brilliant.

I've also just discovered the internal Photopost message board and switched it on.

I have posted one message to it. It shows up, BUT when I click on it to read it, it doesn't open! Same page is returned showing the list of messages (well, just the one at the moment) but clicking on it doesn't open it.

The board should work I really can not comment without seeing the issue. Are you running current code?

Yes it's a fresh installation, redownloaded photopost and started from scratch. Is it ok for me to email you the url and admin log in to take a look?
