There is no mobile upload option in PhotoPost.
If they are viewing the site in a browser they can login and upload like with any site.

Okay so are you saying that PhotoPost gallery software does not support uploading photos from iPhone?
Is that correct?

What I am saying is you should be able to view the site normally and login and upload but there is no specific mobile upload ability.

Are you members logging in?
If I view my site and actually login to my site there is most definately an upload link. I mean I have even logged into this site and done support posts from the phone. As long as you login you should be fine.

Yes, we are all logged in and have the same issue, members, mods and admins alike. Maybe you could go to my website and look for yourself?
Just please do not post the url or name of site here, thank you.

you are able to do anything on your gallery you can do on a computer on your mobile there is just no mobile style.
Now if your site is the one I am thinking of since you had many in the day it prompts me to use forum runner or something like that I need to buy. NO THANKS.
I would suspect maybe your issue is something with that thing.
Here is an easy way to test what I am saying that you can do anything in your browser in our product you can on a computer. View our site since you have a login and go to the gallery here and upload a photo. I just did it myself on my mobile works fine. 2011-04-08_20-32-26_189 - PhotoPost Photo Gallery
I would suspect if you have no link that says upload photos your not logged in and something like that forum runner is interfering with your site.

I am having the same problem on my site and yours.
From iPhone 4 - Click on Upload Photos > Select the photo you wish to upload from your computer:
I can see greyed out boxes that say Choose File, however cannot select them

So you are logged in fine. I would suspect you might want to ask iphone support maybe there is a setting one might want need to do. I can not personally tell you what to or not to do on an iphone.

Yep tons of threads about this on the web. It is an Iphone issue there is nothing I can say to assist you. You can ask Iphone support. There is nothing I can tell you on how to alter coding on your Iphone's Safari browser to enable a file upload prompt that they indeed disable. If Iphone allows flash you can try the flash uploader instead of a normal upload prompt. http://picupapp.com/
There are various Iphone apps which claim to allow file upload but not sure how they work but you could always try and see if one of them helps.
This discussion does make me happy I have an Andriod phone. I thought about an Iphone at one point and heard there where some drawbacks and I know Michael returned his after he got his.
If Iphone does indeed have a fix as to why they automatically prevent file uploads in there mobile safari browser please feel free to post that resolution for other iphone users.

Okay so is your official response that PhotoPost does not work on iPhone?
If so, do you have any interest and/or plans to make this happen or not?
Do you think it would be worth your time and energy to contact iPhone yourself and ask for assistance on your software working with it?
Tried activating your flash uploader, did not work on iPhone, nor did it work on my site. Still greyed out on iPhone and while I was able to upload to my site from computer with the flash uploader, the photos never processed through to the gallery for some reason.
I'm hoping to find a solution to this, so we don't have to replace your gallery in our website in the new design we are working on. Some help getting through this process would be great.
Thank you.

What we are saying is your issue is a universal flaw in the Iphone Safari Browser or Iphone system itself and I even linked such literature in my last post. We only have control over our software not the Iphone system itself. It simply does not allow an file input it greys it out preventing upload there is little we could do on our end about that. The software preventing the file upload is actually on your phone's end of things. It is a very well documented issue with the Iphone from what I am reading. There are supposed plugins which might work to enable upload possibility which I also linked that might help.
There are no current development plans on something like this although I can not say what the future would bring at this time. We are almost done the Pro 8 beta cycle and then Michael will turn his attention to vbGallery. I will be working on a new Classifieds and ReviewPost releases so it would most likely be another year before we got back to working on the next PhotoPost Pro cycle to be realistic.
I know we are working or will be working on how best to support mobile interfaces more for the next Pro release but exact details would not be set currently as we have our attentions turning towards the other 3 products we release.

Like I said the issue is a common issue and it is caused by IPhone not our software. You will see your vbulletin forum attachment feature does not work either.

It is not an opinion that much I can be sure of it is a well documented fact on the internet about Iphone like I told you earlier. There system greys out any file prompt in that safari browser on that phone. Feel free to do your testing and own investigations
There are lots of advise out there but it all seems to deal with something called jailbreaking the iphone. Iphone locks down the filesystem etc Upload Files From Mobile Safari On iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad [How To] | iThinkDifferent |
