Next and Previous on showphoto

When I click on a thumb on the showgallery page I go to the photo. There are two buttons, next and previous. When I click on next of previous I go to the next or to the previous photo, but then I stay in a particular category.

In other words, first image is in Cat A, next image is in Cat B, hit next at first image I go to the image in Cat B and I stay in Cat B. But I want to stay in the showgallery order of images and not go into a particular Cat. Is there a way to achieve this?

Thank you and I hope I made myself clear on what I want.

Do you have an example. The previews are not designed to stay in a category unless that category variable is passed in the url.

Hi Chuck,

I found this thread: http://www.photopost.com/forum/photo...rs-pics-2.html and I worked it out.
We stay on the showgallery (latest uploads), so my problem is solved I guess.

Changes in bold:
Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
If you want to find out, check the www.wfcfotobeeld.com and hit the link Laatste uploads to go to the showgallery and click on a photo you want and click the <- and -> buttons and see that this is what I wanted, to not stay in a category, but stay on the latest uploads and browse there.

Thanks for your reply, and have a nice day.
Gerard

well thats a very old thread. we do not do things like that anymore as the functions have changed all your doing is hard coding things to be the cat your in which is contrary to the coding.
