| Show next photo
Hello Chuck,
In showphoto I have 'show next' photo enabled but it only shows the second photo of that particular categorie. Right from the second photo the link is missing and even previous link is not visable.
What is wrong and how to fix it?
p.s. from the second photo 'slide show' is gone as well and I really haveslide show enabled.
Thanks for your help in advance

I can not answer without seeing what your seeing here.
The results given by next prev photo block depends on the variables given.

Depending where you are in the available order of photos in a category next or previous photo links may not be shown that would be normal

It's the most recent photo from each category that shows the link. You can see for yourself, you don't have to be logged in: LuRoFoto
If I understand correctly, you're saying that 'show next' is only seen once and after clicking the next photo will not show the next or prev photo-link?

That is not what I am saying
I am saying that it all depends where you are in the results based on the query. Like say your query of next prev results the photo you are viewing is the first or last result of that query you will not see a prev or next link since there would be none.

Ok, I misunderstood. Sorry for that. But I like to know how the query should be because we like to see much more in prev and next than only one photo.
I can't imagine I 've made changes somewhere and in my memory the situation was not always like this. Maybe I've changed something by mistake...

Like I said it all depends on the situation and I can not comment without seeing the specific site.

What do you need to see? The site as a member/visitor or as admin?
All I want is to have <<prev and next>> to be avialable and working at all photo's in stead of only the first photo in each category in 'showphoto'
and it would be very handy if the option slideshow is the same as <<prev and next>>
That's the situation it was in the first place but now it's gone for some reason...
the site is www.lurofoto.eu
be my guest

I have 7.1 running I guess? Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Is it about a template? I had left one template out while upgrading. What template contains the show prev and next?

Your copyright shows 2007 so you may have a whole bunch of mix and match.
Anyway my suggestion would be to download the zip file and from the extracted code delete the config files and install file and any header or footer html file. You can delete the data uploads and stylesheets directories if you want also.
However upload everything else. You then run upgrade.php and to be safe run the 6.0-7.0 upgrade
The you can click around and see how things are so we both are definately running off the same code.

I have bought PP 6.2 at first back in 2009, then I've bought 7.0 wich you installed for me at the time. The bunch mix and match must be from your hands then
This year in January I upgradet to 7.1. and that did not need an upgraderun as written. It was just for a few php's and templates PhotoPost Pro 7.1 Released 01-24-11
Besides, I see your beta 8.0 at Harley's is running with a copyright of 2007????

Feel free to pass proper site access information to us through the contact us link and I will take a look but I am merely viewing multiple sites next prev and then yours and the see no issue on other sites so I would need to investigate yours to do anything other than guess.

As I stated I have no comment about some site not under my control he could be running a very early alpha version for all I know.
I am running the latest beta for 8.0 here A community photo gallery - - ReefTalk Gallery
Now as far as your issue if you want me to look at your 7.1 you need to send info to the contact us link in the site header.
