Linked Image only links to image

Our members are mentioning that this has changed, and after looking at some others who use the software, I see that it may have.

Go here

Scroll down below the large image to the Photo Details.

Look under "Linked Image"

Under Thumbnails, that code gives you the code for the image and the link to get to it. My members are stating that Linked image used to work the same way.

I checked this site, and it's working that way for them. Same with this one.

I have upgraded to the most recent version of Photopost, and have triple checked that all the correct files have uploaded. Was something taken out, is this a mod. What do I need to do to get it to show the code like linked thumbnails.

Nothing has changed to my knowledge so maybe those sites are modified

The linked image code has always been for both thumbnail and medium not a large image

Hense in your site you do not have a medium image so there is no linked image tag.

I looked in showphoto.tmpl to see if there is a difference in the code of the thumb/full and there isn't any. If it's not controlled through this template, where is it controlled?

$showbbmed is most definately defined and shows if I look in the template

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Like I said you need to have a medium image for it to show from what I see

Your site shows linked medium if you have a medium image look here. Like I said the linked image is for thumbnail and medium only

No, you miss understood what I was asking.

I don't care about medium images. I need to get Linked Images to actually be a true linked image code like the examples I posted. What file contains the code that controls putting in bbcode? I just need the file name, not how to modify it. I'll figure that out myself.

Yeah my responses are based in a support manner.

In most cases when you are trying to figure out how to mod something you want to look in the actual script your viewing so in your case it is showphoto.php

FYI we do not link full size images because the code your talking about is used to post in a forum post and one would not post full large images in full posts which is why it is only used on thumbnails and medium sized images.

Though I'm sure you have dealt mainly with websites that would agree with your opinion that one would not post full large images in full posts, that is not the case in all industries, especially mine. What fits for you does not fit for everyone. I am not the only one in my industry who uses this code, you can see 2 others in my original post who has found that it's needed for our customer base.

Thank you for pointing me to the .php file. I will look there.

I agree not everyone wants things to work one way That is why people mod code. I have no problem telling people where to look to mod code.
