Red face How to sort all albums within each members individual galleries alphabetically?

I currently have the Members Gallery default set to "Alphabetical", which works perfectly. When I click on "Member List" all individuals galleries are sorted alphabetically.

However, once I click on any member's gallery, their albums are not showing as alphabetical. Instead, is looks as if all albums are showing by creation date as the default setting.

Is there any way to change something within "pp-inc.php" to make all albums (within all my users galleries, and not just the user gallery "member list") to default as alphabetical?

Thank you.

P.S. I ask this because I was able to modify the code at line 3115 of pp-inc.php with "WHERE ( c.parent='$userid' AND c.cattype='a' ) ORDER BY c.catorder, c.catname", $link);" to change the sort order of each individual user's albums as they see it, but this only works for "My Albums" only.

If your albums that show on showgallery come from that script and the sort order comes from the catorder field which is correct so I assume your users have not ordered there albums from the default HINT HINT.

Otherwise your free to modify your code in that file although no support for code modifications. In fact they negate your ability to obtain product support.

Oh no, I didn't know that...I pulled the first code I spoke of from your guidance from this post here so I figured it was okay to use: photopost.com/forum/photopost-pro-how-do-i/121576-how-sort-my-albums-list-name.html

I didn't know that it would void product support. Does that mean I can no longer get product support for anything now? Even if I don't modify the code with what you just gave me above? :'(

This is the same policy as most any software company. We support our code as it is released and downloaded from our site.

Just for you to read our whole thing on code mods posted in the mods forum

http://www.photopost.com/forum/photo...ead-first.html

What this means is if you have an issue say in the future and need support that support will ask you to place default files on your server before looking into any issue. This is because the majority of software issues are caused by code hacking. The number of real bugs is relatively low.
