How do I show a column for avatars (as in the demo)?

I'm using the latest version of photopost with vbulletin 4.1.5 using vbulletin's skin. In vBulletin the avatars are shown in a column, left of the comments. But in the gallery the names of the poster (of the comment), along with his avatar is all crunched in on horizontal table.

How can I change this so that the way comments are presented matches the layout of the vbulletin forum (just as the demo gallery on this site)?

Example: Message - TCB Gallery

Right now it looks real messy

Nobody can see your gallery to comment. The gallery you see here is with vb3 and might look different than say one that is a standalone or integrated with vb4. I would need to see your site to see what your talking about.

The vb3 postbit to my knowledge was a vertical td that contained user info on a post and we may use that in vb3.

I beleive in vb4 if I look at my posts vb4 uses a horizontal line to contain the user info and this is how we do it in that integration

You are free to modify your showphoto template however you wish.

But vB4 offers us the option "Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template":
Quote:
If you prefer the old-style postbit, using two vertical columns rather than the new horizontal layout, you can switch back to using that template with this switch.

Please note that if you enable this option and wish to customize the template, you should edit the 'postbit_legacy' template rather than the 'postbit'.
I have enabled this, so my forum is using the postbit_legacy template.

In photopost i have enabled the option: "Do you want to enable the vB3 or vB4 Integration which uses your vB3 or vB4 headers, footers and styles?"

So with this option photopost should use the vB4 styles that I've setup up. In this case the legacy style.

Since photopost is sold with a working vB4 integration, I think not using the postbit_legacy setting is a bug or shortcoming. As you said yourself: photopost with vb3 integration and enabling the vb3 styles, the column for avatar is used.

So it seems like photopost is ignoring this vbulletin setting and just show the new postbit template. Can you fix this bug?

This is not a bug.

Just because vbulletin offers the ability to use legacy templates on there forum does not mean our product uses such features. Our product has its own templates and features. Integration means we use the vbulletin headers footers and style and login. That is how it has always been. Forum only features have nothing to do with our application.

But why does photopost 'listen' to the new postbit template of vbulletin4 and ignore the postbit_legacy one?

Because, as you said yourself, when someone is using the same photopost version but with vb3, photopost shows the avatar in a column mirroring the way vb3 does (just as the gallery on this site).

Can you please, PLEASE help me adjusting the template so that it looks like it's working on the gallery on this site? I've tried editing the template, but it seems like I have no clue what to change.

Photopost does not listen to any postbits or templates in vb4.

We load our own templating which is located in the templates/vb4enhanced folder for vb4. You are free to adjust your application to suit your needs. I am merely pointing out the way things display would be different between vb3 and vb4 because those are different products.
