EXIF - again ... I've searched the forums but still haven't found a solution. I want to show Exif-infos of the pictures uploaded. Exif is enabled, jpgtran disabled (no path entry) My host says jhead is available in usr/bin/jhead, so i entered the full server path like this: /www/htdocs/mywebspace/usr/bin/jhead Uploading an image with exif-info has no effect, so it seems no data is extracted. The database entry for that picture also says "0". As I am not used to ssh I cannot test if jhead is actually proberly installed with my host. :o I'm stuck. What can I do to make it work (I want to use jhead, no PHP-hack /function) |
Your path would be exactly what your host said :) you put in a bad path |
ha-but it reads "full server path" ? thats unfair - sort of ;) |
works perfectly :) is there a template or language file I can modify/translate regarding the data to be displayed? (ok, I'm too lazy for searching now - pls give me a hint :)) |
The path they gave you was full server path Not sure what your refering to edit as there is nothing that can be edited. If there is exit there will be a link under photo options to show it |
yes, and than a table shows up with the exif data. I am wondering if a) I can restrict the data shown here (i.e. select only certain Exif tags) b) I can translate the first column value to another language |
a. no b. no the exif info is a serialized array the exif info. we have no breakdown to not print certain rows. |
ok - thanks a lot. Also for your help on the other issues I had. Will go live next week and think everything works fine now. |
Enjo your weekend what's left of it. :) |
