Login Box Alignment

Hi,

I installed fresh VB4.15 with no mods and the PhotoPost 7. I installed a new template that I just bought from Complete VB. The login fields are out of alignment all the way to the left. The fields are out of alignment in Classifieds 3.1 as well.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

This is the normal alignment on the other VB4 pages.
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Here is the full header shown without an alignment issue.
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Hopefully this will not prove to difficult to correct. I am not a coder so have no idea how to correct.

Thanks,
Brian

What are the class names in your custom style. I would believe this is a style issue but I can not say without looking at the actual site. Images do not help

I will PM you a login if you want to take a peek?

Thanks,
Brian

Yep your custom style uses class names that are the name of some vb scripts which conflict with rewrite code to make sure forum urls work in our application.

example your class name in that style is memberBox. To correct your issue in your custom style rename that class to userBox and save. Then edit your header template in vb and rename memberBox to userBox. Problem solved for that custom style.

Excellent Chuck...You do certainly know your stuff That corrected part of issue of the but I think perhaps there maybe other duplicate class names or another issue. The username and password boxes both are back at the correct location but the Login text and button and Remember Me text and checkbox are both in the wrong location on the page. Also the top half of the calendar on the gallery page is messed up.

Do you think those are the same issue. I have not identified any other issues with the format so I hope that will be it.

Thanks for you assistance.

Brian

Unfortunately I am finding more issues as I configure the site. There are format issues on the upload page, the issue with the calendar in the Gallery. I am not sure what to do. I guess the changes that I make will need to be updated each time I install a new version of the template which could be when Vbulletin updates their program.

Would you be able to take a look with login Chuck and password photopost and either provide me a price if that is something you are able to assist with? It would be good to change the password if you login.

Perhaps I am better of abondoning ship on the template if it will be a hassel to maintain? If it were just a handful of edits to update that wouldn't be so bad if I kept a list of the changes I guess.

Thanks again!

Yes your issue is with your style. Set your style to the default one to double check any issues for sure and then respond further if there are any issues. Your custom style author should be able to assist with his style. I think I went over what I know about the conflict you did post

What issue are you referring to your not being clear. The only issue you explained was the member login box. Just saying you have an upload page issue is not clear enough.
