Can't Get Modal to Work

For the life of me, I cannot get PP to display the modal window when you click on the image.

Can we get a tutorial on the settings to have my main image at 500px while the click-to-enlarge MODAL is 960px?

I am going to assume you can not get the large image to popup? If that is the case then you must under show photo options in admin make sure the option to use the big popup window to yes.

Then the large image will popup when you actually have a medium image.

A "modal" is a common programming term... it's simply an overlay (could display images or anything else) but you guys refer to it as "lightbox integration" but in fact "Lightbox" is a specific application. So either terminology can be used (assuming you are indeed using THE Lightbox jquery app).

Anyway...

BIG setting is set to YES.
My Lightbox setting is set to YES and trigger at 200.

Max image size is set to 960px wide.

To get lightbox to show both the bigpopup and lightbox has to be yes. Your lightbox thresholds should be like 1200 if your large image is below that if above it uses normal popup

We have not released ckeditor support yet

I still don't get it... let me start over... I want my show photo page to show a max of 720px WIDTH. Anything larger than that, I want the lightbox to trigger. That simple.

Max allowable image width in pixels: ?
Trigger medium graphic height and width: ?
Width to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled): ?

Lightbox is a java script is can not display huge photos. Anything over 1200 or 1500 it will crash at least thats what I have found.

in showphoto options set what I said in my last post for you to set

use big popup window for large images yes
use lightbox yes
lightbox width threshold 1200
lightbox height threshold 1200

I want the photo area to be a max of 720 with the lightbox on anything after wider than that.

Have you set your medium threshold to 720 and actually rebuild mediums in scan database settings in admin? That is something entirely different than enabling lightbox.

The example your showing me has no medium image hense there is no need to use the big popupwindow or lightbox.

I looked around and that seems to be your issue your not creating medium images at so there is no large image.

This is an example of a medium image and you click it it to open lightbox or big popup window.

Now as previously discussed lightbox is only going to show an image up to say 1200 or 1500 without crashing but looks like to me if you set a medium size and build the mediums you should get something like the example I am showing.

I finally got it to work but it's not so straight forward with all the settings. Perhaps help tooltips that explain each setting in more detail.

Hello

Both the height and width to trigger lightbox need to be 1300 and like I said if lightbox crashes and can not handle the java will crash and will simply show in a new window.

Another thing to consider is do you have any other java loading that may be interfering with lightbox.

There is only so much support I can give on ligthbox we did not write that code. Your lightbox seems to be loading on the page but crashes when you view the image.

ok... You are using lightbox v2.02 and they are up to v2.05 (IE9 support) so you may want to update. You guys may also want to consider looking for a jQuery version to avoid conflicts with the other js frameworks (vb is porting everything to jQuery not to mention jQuery is the leading js framework). Just my two cents...

yeah I have been looking at some of the jquery stuff recently.

As always we need to search for things that can be included freely into commercial scripting.
