Force minimum screen width?

HI;

Is there a way to force a minimum screen width? Maybe this is even a VBulletin setting, I'm not sure. I searched in the style var's but could not find a minimum width setting.

On smaller monitors and mobile devices, you end up with something that looks like this (where the photo is wider than the container size(white back ground area)):

Fullscreen capture 4292011 123210 PM.jpg

If I could force that main container to be a minimum size (that was equal to the size needed for the photos, then I would avoid this problem.

Most people have larger monitors now, so that isn't much of an issue, but it displays with this problem on just about all mobile devices I have tested it on.

Thanks,

Jamie

If your forum is set to a specific width and you have a photo that does not stay within any specified width my suggestion would be to make sure any medium restriction you have setup to a size that is not going to break any templating. Simply put you can not fit 800 pixels worth of stuff in a 750 pixel area.

It all depends alot on your users as its a complex issue. Your medium image is set to 700 pixels so no matter what your area to view that photo is at minimum 750-800 pixels no matter what.

So if someone views your site on a netbook which may have a maximum resolution of x amount of pixels width you still have to render that 700 pixel wide image it is not going to shrink.
