Exclude thumbnails from certain categories on index.php page
How do I exclude certain categories from displaying their thumbnails on the index page?

You can restrict what thumbs or photos show through category permissions based on usergroup viewing permissions. There is no setting to say these categories do not show on just the photo blocks.
