White Page problems

We moved servers recently and now I have white page problems, I am sure its a path problem, but I have triple checked the paths in config.int and they are 100% correct. However the phoyos don't show and the admin page just whites out, so i'm stuck  Main Index - Motorhomefun Gallery

Can anyone help, thanks

well look at permissions is the data and uploads directories are they 777 permissions at every level. You files do not seem viewable at all if they exist on the server.

Here are the install instructions for you to recheck permissions on things

Hi Chuck, yes I have gone through the permissions carefully, all the directories and contents chmod as advised, thing is I am sure that I could see all the pictures and everything was OK, it was after changing the paths within admin that the problems began. If there were errors on the admin settings page, with it now being white, what do you think I must do to correct it. As I said the config files have the correct paths.

thanks

Chuck, I just looked at the path for the file you posted, its all wrong, where did you get it. the path for that photo is

but your link was this

It seems that the link you provided has the server and http paths are messed up/joined up!

Thats your issue then you stuff is all messed up. You have placed paths where urls are suppose to be etc

Your best bet is to rerun the install script as it looks like you have been database diving without good results.

I was due to do an upgrade, that will do the same thing will it chuck?

Chuck S March 2nd, 2011 04:33 PM

You need to run the install script upgrade is not going to correct urls paths.

Thanks Chuck, I do not know what version I am running, can I run the install script from the latest version I just downloaded?

Chuck S March 3rd, 2011 08:01 AM

Yes you can do that to fix paths and urls but if your prior version was before 7.0 you would need to run any upgrade from your previous version forward.

Hi Chuck, I ran the install from the latest version and I now have access to the admin page, but all other pages are white, gallery/index etc :(

Do I now have to copy up and overwrite all the photopost files, and then install again?

Thanks

If your integrated with vb thats an easy fix

Read number 2 on this tutorial this would be my guess to your issue common mistake users make on install
