Uploads folders

I have noticed that almost all of the folders in /uploads are empty. There are 451 folders there. Is this correct?

That would be correct when a user uploads an upload folder would be created if everything is working there uploads directory should be there and be empty if they have processed all there photos.

They are needed if the user uploads again it will be recreated so you can delete them but there is no need.
