How remove link of homepage field on profile??

Hi,

I want to use de homepage field to put text without link on profile? How do I remove de linker? on editprofile.tmpl??

Could I change de text length of ICQ, Yahoo fields editing the templates?

The fields are specific lengths in the actual database and should accept enough data. Homepage for instance is a 100 character varchar field where as the aim icq are 30 characters. You can not change them without altering database tables.

You could edit your profile and editprofile and member templates to whatever wording you wish and use that field for something else and see where your at.

I suppose that altering database tables can create problems in the future with upgrading or others??

What can I do in order to remove the linker of homepage field?? I don´t want that homepage field is clickable because if I use it to put infpormation diferent than URL, it will produce an error.

You would edit your member template as noted above and alter the html to suit you. It is coded as a link in that template just remove the link.
