Show UBBCode on Photo page issue?

We have enabled this and it has it showing:

thumbnail, image, and direct link BUT.... the "image" ubb code is not linking to an image like the thumbnail does....

as you can see here:
SNOW WEEK - Digital Scrapbooking Layouts

if you look at the linked image - it does not have the url= code embedded in the ubb on the page?

Well actually main bbcode or ubbcode as it is called is merely the img tag in bbcode and yours shows fine. That is the only link that use to show. We later added linked thumbnail and linked medium if there is a medium to show and those two are the only ones that use a url tag.

ok so question being - is there a way then to make it so it always creates a link to the images gallery page

ie: url=gallerypagewhereimageislocated.php]image[/end url

kwim?

a member swears it used to be always link to the image too before we upgraded - I personally never use the premade links but the members do quite often so I can't say whether she is right or not.

Your member would be mistaken here. The old ubbcode was always just the image tag.

The thumbnail and medium links where added later

Password Required - ReefTalk Gallery

I was a customer before I ever worked here. It was called ubbcode as thats what it was referred to in UBBThreads where Michael and I use to hang out long ago the ubbThreads dev forums. I remember when the initial rendition was added.

You would have to edit how the link is formed in showphoto.php at the bottom I suppose. That would be called code hacking

yep that's what I'm looking for... how would i make it link to the gallery page associated with that "image"

below is what the members are telling me from before we upgraded to 7.03 a few weeks; ago; and never upgraded or did anything diff. to our vbulletin (3.8.6):

Quote:
Nooooo, that's not right. It used to be linked. I used to have to go to the trouble of posting the image and then coming back and getting the link and highlighting the image and all of that. But then I found that you could just click the LINKED IMAGE and it would work just like the LINKED THUMBNAIL.

Then, about a month ago, it stopped working.
Quote:
I use to have it on my site and I noticed that since I integrated with vbulletin it's not linked. I do see other digiscrap sites that have that option and they use the same programs but I can't find it in the settings.
