| Change positions of lines(rows?) in showphoto.tmpl
Merry Christmas.
I'd like to change the position of lines and memberinfo in showphoto, the showcomment part. I think it's called subforumdescription. I've tried a few things in showphoto.tmpl and mixed and f*** all up so now I'm asking your advice. I really love to know which parts I should change into what.
Attachment 1 is showing the current position
Attachment 2 is showing what I wish for Christmas
Thanks in advance for your assistance [attachment 1] [attachment 2]

I think you might need to find an old showphoto template on a site running an older version and compare it to the template to see differences. The current showing is the one in our application based on the new vb4 and the new vb3 format. The old format or one you are depicting I think you want is an old vb2 layout or old vb3 earlier series.
The current code uses the vb4 post format and there is no alternative.

I had those lines in PP 6.2 without vb. The almost simular layout as I want to have it was also in pp 7.01, only it was without lines.
I tried to copy the parts I thought was from showcomment from 7.01 into 7.03 but It didn't work. I do not want to change the entire template. I like all the other rows in showphoto. The comparing is the hardest part, it looks so different. I can use some help with it.
It's only since this month I finally start to understand the templates a little.
My forum is vb4 and it shows the same rows and lines as I would like to have in pp showphoto. Is there a change I can copy the code fromvb4 itself into pp showphoto.tmpl?
If so, which code do I need to replace?

The standalone and vb integration templates are different Anja you can not just do a copy and replace. You would need to physically alter the html of that file.

Thank you Chuck, I've tried that too: In subforumdescribtion I changed some align="right" into align="left" and one valign="top" into valign="bottom" but the only results were userinfo stucked in the center of the row instead of under the avatar or username.
Is it absolutely impossible to change the horzontal line into a vertical line positioned next to the avatar and change the position of the userinfo from left to right under the avater or username?
If it's not impossible I really like to know what I should do and I mean detailed, if it is, I make a wish you would make this possible in PP 7.04

I know what your trying to say beleive me. However it is really a mod question not a support one. You can not simply do an align statement that is not going to change anything no matter what your trying to do.
I can definitely tell you that we will not be altering our vbulletin template set just because you are use to running a standalone gallery and the look of the comment bit. The comment bit in our vb series should mimic the look of the vb postbit which is how it is suppose to look.

I'm not running a standalone for more than one year now, so that's not the issue in here. 7.01 did not have that horizontal line in showcomment and userinfo was underneath the username/avatar. I was running 7.01 together with vb4 all the time. All I would like to have is a vertical line instead of a horizontal one and userinfo not at the right site. Maybe I'm not the only one...
My vbpostbit doesn't look like the PPcommentbit at all by the way.

The display your talking about has been in place in the vb format for quite some time now at least version 6.2x maybe before. At any rate as I have said the way it is displayed is the way it is suppose to show. If you want to change yours that would be considered a code mod and would be up to you to do. My poor Yellow Tang
The comment in photopost definately looks like the new vb3 or vb4 post bit

I would like to do it myself but I don't know where in the template to start and where to stop. Which parts do I need to replace. Which parts do I need to change. That's all I'm asking for.
Who can I ask to tell me what I have to do?

The code for the comment is between the if clause for $itemnum down towards the bottom of the showphoto template
