Exclamation Problem Upload Zip-Files

Now i have the new Photopost 7.03 running but a big problem because i can't upload .ZIP files anymore.

I tried both ways - upload through the web-script like i did it before and even uploaded in a directory on the ftp both time the .ZIP file didn't get extracted so that the pictures inside are shown after allright - no i only got one media file but that is wrong.

can you please help me chuck?

Thank you very much.

Greetings from Germany

Exclamation wrong sizes

the upload works if you change from flash-uploader to the normal old one!

but i have now a even bigger problem!

The problem is that the pictures aren't displayed in the right size after upload now.
The orginal picture has the size of 900x600 Pixel and this is now displayed in wrong places
It is shown as thumbnail instead of the 130x90 pixel and even wrong in the medium size file instead of the the 720x480 pixel.
Can you please fix the problem right now? I need to upload new pictures from yesterday but I can't because of the problems.

Thank you very much for you quick help.

Greetings reinhold

yes you can not use a flash uploader to process zip files that needs to be done the old way.

As far as your image sizes those are your settings under admin upload options. You would set whatever thresholds you wish as thats what your telling the image processor to make filesizes to. If you want different size thresholds you would set that there. You are the one who has set 130 thumbnail sizes and 720 medium thresholds etc

Dear Chuck,

ok i got it that i have to use the old uploader to handle the zip files!

But i don't get the problem what is happening now!

i havent changed anythin in the upload options before the uplgrade everything worked perfect but now after the upgrade i have so much problems - why is not just working?

The Photooptions are just set right like before:
Thumbnail image max witdth and height in pixel => 130
Trigger medium graphic height and width => 720

do i have to change anything elsere there in the photopost options to get it work?

Thank you so much to get it work now for me

thankx reinhold

Are you sure you are using GD2 as your image processor I show you changed that and that is why your image sizes are not processed.

As you said exec is disabled so you can not set your processor to imagemagick

Those images are rebuilding as I switched your processor back so it may take awhile for them to size since you have over 80000 photos.

1) There was GD2 before than i changed to imagemagick i guess that work better.
But i dont know really about it!

2) why are you rebuilding all my pictures? The Problem is only in the new categorie!

3) I see that there now some pictures in the right size but some are now (thumbnails) but the problem is that when i click on the thumbnail that there is still the than the full-picture displayed (900x600) instead of the set medium-sizes (720x480).

can you fix that problem too?

Thank you.

Your issue is you this and this is why images need to be rebuilt.

You set your processor to imagemagick which will not work because your server has disabled exec which you told me and that is needed for imagemagick to work. I set the processor back to gd2.

Now that I know the only affected images are in one category I can stop the rebuilt and just do it in one category.

The only way to rebuilt images is scan database in admin which is why images are rebuilding.

Your issue is resolved. Just make sure when you change a setting that it is correct because that will cause issues just like the one you had.
