config Hi, A while ago a friend helped me to install PP7.01 over PP7.0beta. Today I had a look at the server and I saw these files: config-inc.php Dec 18 2009 config-inc.php.NEW May 12 2010 config-inc.php.bad Dec 18 2009 config-int.php Dec 11 2009 config-int.php.NEW May 12 2010 config-int.php.bad Dec 19 2009 I took a closer look and saw config-inc.php.NEW belongs to PP7.01 config-inc.php belongs to PP7.0 beta. I think I should make adjustments in config-inc.php.NEW like password, name of database etc. then throw config-inc.php away and rename config-inc.NEW.php into config-inc.php but I'm not 100% sure about that. Will you tell me if I am correct or not? And what to be done with all of the config.int.php.---? thanks in advance, Anja |
No you really do not need to do anything to the configs they are fine. The NEW and bad ones are just blank or old ones. The ones used by the program are config-inc.php and config-int.php |
Thanks. Should I leave them alone or can I throw them out of the server? It won't do any harm if I throw the .bad and .NEW away would it? |
Nope it will do no harm to throw away files that are not used by our program. The bad and new files can go. |
thank you very much. Have a nice day |
