Adsense placement: where do you put ads?

Photopost is the *one* software component we use that has not paid for itself through the use of ads. I'm wondering where the optimal places to put ads in the photopost app are. Also, it would be great if you made insertion of adsense easier than it currently is. vB does it.

Optimal is in the eye of the beholder. Most people put ads in the header or footer they load in a program.
