Album Thumbnails not updating

When a user uploads a photo to an album that they have created, the thumbnail is no longer being updated. It used to update and show the last image uploaded but no longer does. Is this an option somewhere that I am missing?

Thanks,

Mike

I dont remember every feature of old old versions but category or album thumbnails do not update to the latest. Only the latest would show if there is no thumbnail set. If you have a catavatar as it is called set nothing is ever updated. I do not ever remember a category or album thumbnail always being the latest image. When the ability to set an album thumbnail was introduced it was a manual thing which an admin could tag a photo in a category or album to be the avatar. It pretty much has not changed since its inclusion. I do know the one change made a few versions ago was that if an image is uploaded to a category or album that is empty meaning there is no thumbnail set for the category the code will update the avatar to that image. That of course will only happen once in a category or album otherwise you tag the thumbnail.

That is strange. When I first installed the software a couple of years ago, an album created by a user would update to the latest image that was uploaded in that album every time a new image was uploaded. That is how I knew which album to look at for a user's latest submission.

I have always had category thumbnails set, but albums would update with each upload. Perhaps in my lame attempt to customize my site in the beginning, I screwed something up to where it would update. Now that I finally updated the software it is the way it should be.

No worries, I appreciate the reply.

No problem I understand what your saying but I don't remember that. Its possible it did as I have never been big on personal albums.
