Question Using MAXCDN pull zones with photopost

I have been looking into using MaxCDN to serve up static files, including images, photopost files.

MaxCDN pulls the files from your server, so you remain in full control. I've read about problems with other CDN hosts where all files disappeared. So I am very hesitant to use a cloud service that hosts files. Costs for MaxCDN are extremely low and its pay as you go. MAXCDN seems pretty fast and claims it can increase my site / image gallerys speed. So looks like worth the try. I would be very interesting in reading peoples experiences with MaxCDN.

The main difficulty I see is that a pull zone need a different reading and a different writing location. Files are hosting and written to your server, while file are read off the pull zone.

But how to get this configured?

I would very much like to find a step by step instruction on how to configure Photopost Pro to use MaxCDN for static files.

I already found this several general articles on
MAXCDN Pullzones
How To Setup A Zone :: NetDNA Support Wiki
API docs

Can anyone provide instructions?

I know this is a very old post, but I was wondering if you found an easy way to make this work?

I've managed to get some good results by just changing the PhotoPost data directory and the PhotoPost images directory to reflect my maxcdn information.

Yeah I do not use a cdn myself but it should not be that hard. I know a couple users who have setup photopost on a multi server environment.

As long as the server path which is where files are pulled from is correct and accessible it should work. Not too sure what you mean about the photopost images directory as that setting is only the setting to the images directory where we load program images from not your uploaded images.
