RSS for Categories

Hi Chuck,

I was wondering - is it possible to have an RSS feed just for the latest updated categories?

So, for example (I am using your gallery), if I post like
10 pictures in Toys that Go and then
1 picture in Member Pics and
900 pictures in Where We Live

the RSS Feed would output, just once in order of latest update that particular category which was updated

rather then outputting 10 Toys that Go, one Member Pics, and 900 Where We Live links.


Also, is there a way to add a latest image as a thumbnail in the rss for that particular category?

each specific category when viewing it has its own rss link.

View a category and then click the rss link and you will see if shows the rss for that cat only.

Sorry, I may not have explained it correctly.

I do not want an individual RSS for each category.

I want one RSS that lists the latest updated categories, not latest uploaded pictures.

A latestest upload category is one in which pictures are uploaded to. But the RSS does not list the pictures that have been updated, it only lists the category. And that category is listed only once.

It's like in Windows, when you sort by DATE MODIFIED, you get the folders listed in the order they were last updated.

You would have to create your own custom RSS script for something like that.
