2nd gallery in same website

Hello Chuck,

I have PP with vB installed. I like to have one more PP installed as a standalone and have it operational together with the current running PP. It does not have to intergrate.
It has to be like another page in the website.
for example I'm running lurofoto.eu now and there is lurofoto.eu/gallery and lurofoto.eu/forum and now I like to have lurofoto.eu/gallery2nd

Is this possible and if so, what do I need to adjust in config and/or else to make it work?

*Meanwhile I've learned how to upload and install into the server. So i can do this myself now

You can install a second copy provided you purchase another license sure.

There is no issues installing a second copy even in the same database as the first provided you install with a unique table prefix. For example photopost's default prefix is pp_. When you install the second on install set the prefix as photo_

So if I understand correctly I need to purchase a licence to run a second gallery in the same website at the same host.
The licance I already have has only values for hosting PP once? It's not a multiple value in the same website at the same host? That's a bit strange to me :-)

That is quite common place with software. You can not buy windows 7 and install it on 10 computers. Most paid forum softwares same thing you can not install it multiple times without purchasing multiple copies.

Lets look at the license agreement

I think that is clear meaning you are allowed one install on one domain.

But I don't want to install PP on multi computers or more than one domain. I want to install it twice on the same domain. btw, I bought Windows XP pro and I'm allowed to install it on more that one computer and I have much more software wich I'm allowed to install it on several computers so that's really more common to me.

I'll have to think about this, thanks for your awnser.

Our licensing agreement clearly states you can only install one software installation on one domain.

Chuck, according to my bankaccount I've payed the full price fot PP 6.23 and for PP 7.01 So that means I have licence for both and I should be able to use both gallery's at the same time... agree or not? Or am I missing something?

if your last name is Volder you only own one license. If you bought a 6.2 series license and then renewed access later on to download the 7 series that still is only one license.

You need to own 2 separate licenses to run two galleries.

I am not customer service so I do not know what you own specifically.
