| Empty Thumbnails....

Why is this happening?
What can I do to fix it?

Chuck , when I click on the link it is telling me that access is denied.
huumm it's only as of recently. I haven't had any sever changes or issues.
What did you do last time?

Correct you need to see what permissions the file is on your server.
I am not sure what you mean what I did. I have done nothing.

last week you went into my server, you said my permissions were set wrong and that you changed them. Now it's happening again.

well have you created new categories etc obviously if I where you I would look and make sure in your data directory your 501 category is 777 as well as its subcategories.
You might want to have your host do a recursive permissions change on the server for that directory to 777

no I have not created any new categories.
Ok I am in my data directory/501 category and than u lost me.

what I am saying is view the actual file I linked in post 2. view the permissions on that file what are they?

is this file in the back end of photopost or
my server?
the file you linked in post 2 does not give me acces through the link so I will have to find it. Just not sure where to find it.

It is your server. The file is under the data directory the 500 directory and then thumbs. The filename is
201006_my_little_chewer.jpg
The directory thumbs should be 777 and the files in that directory should be 644 or 666 permissions.

I see where it tells me the permission is 640 on this file
the thumbs is 500.
what do I do to fix them all?

The thumbs directory should be 777 and the file is 644
You can fix the directory or file by right clicking them and choosing chmod or properties and giving them the right permissions.
As far as why your permissions are wonked out on the server you would need to ask your host.

Sorry Chuck but I got really sick.
I finally was able to call my server today and got the permissions reset and that took care of it.

No problem figured that was your issue. Yeah been kind of sick all week here as well. 4 kids running around sick so bound to get it. |
