Lost Admin Access?!?!

I have a PP working with VB 3.x.x. Suddenly lost Admin access. All I get is following message:

Quote:
You are not a valid administrator or moderator!
Please help.

what changes have transpired recently?

If you know how to use phpmyadmin there should be an entry in your pp_usergroups table with a groupid of 6 for Administrators with cpaccess set to 1. If there is not an entry for your admin group then this is why you have your issue.

Please check this out and let me know. You can also try rerunning your install script into the same database and table structure to fix this. Reinstalling into the same tables does not delete data.

I reinstalled as per your instructions, but still getting the same error.

The only change I remember making before loosing access is removing upload permissions for Admin group. I don't even see Admin link on index page.

well couple things

1. Have you checked the database table as instructed?

2. Are you using the main vb superadmin login userid 1?

3. when logging in you sure its not a cookie issue meaning if you sign into your forum on

www.domain.com

that your gallery url is also that and not domain.com
