vBulletin QuickReply Integration

Hi, I use the VB integration with the comments in my gallery,and a week or so back I added a mod to the forum that changed the buttons on the Quick Reply and Quick Edit toolbars (for the forum)

When I did this the editor no longer showed in the gallery at all, just the thin border surrounding it lol

Is there somewhere in PP's code that tells it to pull certain info from vb's template where it's maybe not pulling it because the code in the template has changed? If so where would I look....if not how might I go about fixing it? I have disabled the mod for now as I like the vb editor better LOL :P

And if it helps, I am on VB3.8.6 and PP7.01

You would need to contact the actual hack author about how to make it work. I know know nothing about those vb hacks or how they work but if they work through plugins and the plugins usually dont run outside the vb page your going to have issues.

That's not going to help me though if the hack author is not familiar with PP....thing is I could most likely fix it myself if I know how PP pulls the VB editor to show in PP, and that's really all I was asking I guess....where do I look for how PP uses VB's editor in the integration?

well we pull the editor much like vb does you can look at the various scripts header-inc.php comments.php showphoto.php quickcom and comments templates but in the end none of that is going to help you.

There is specific code in YOUR HACK that is called by the vb plugin to hook into specific locations thats how the plugin system in vb works. If your plugin does not run when the editor is called then it is broken.

You can try changing hook locations into global plugin locations and see if that helps but in the end your hack author is going to need to write his code so it does work with both applications or add some exception to his code that it is off if it encounters the photopost program.
