Angry Duplicate meta tags... external.php link title

Hi,

I was examining the source code on one of our galleries and it seems there are duplicate meta tags generated if PP is integrated with vbulletin.

How can one avoid this? I would like to show meta tags relevant to PP when on PP pages and switch to forum meta when on forum pages.

All the SEO work with urls, etc. and basic things like this are still screwed up...

In source code of the site, on Photopost page, it shows "ABC Forum rss feed" but its linked to photopost rss feed. Anyway to change that title as well?

Ideally, when RSS feed icon in browser address bar is clicked, it should show Forum rss feed as well as Photopost rss feed on both forum and photopost pages. I know I could do this on vbulletin side but its not so easy on pp side.

See attached image for visual.

Thanks

Okay, it seems meta tag issue was fixed in the 7.02 update, thank you.

What about the other issue?

what issue are we talking about? Your talking about an rss feed link!!

If your in photopost clicking it should result in going to the gallery rss you are not going to get both the forum and gallery showing together as they are two different scripts.

Exclamation

Chuck,

Did you see the screenshot? In Photopost, it says "Forum RSS FEED," the title from the vbulletin carries over.

Okay so your just talking about a title statement in that link

Well I would have to ponder that awhile which means play with it and see if I get any ideas.

See the way it is done now is we do this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Okay this is a two part process as it took a FEW to figure out with the processing of variables do not work together.

In header-inc.php find the line noted and add the line in bold

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
In pp-inc.php under the line noted add the line in bold and reupload both those files

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

By the way this little edit I provided above has been applied to the default code and will be included in the upcoming 7.03 release soon.
