no sorry you can not on the fly is handled by a script so the watermark is not permanent meaning your original image is not watermarked. along time ago you could do what you wanted in the forum img tags they allowed script links however the forum img tags only allow try image links nowadays.
If you setup permanent watermarking no there is no image that is not watermarked thats why its called permanent watermarking. Thats why alot of people like on the fly watermarks however that has its drawbacks because you cant use script in forum img code anymore.
I dont see the point of "on the fly" I have a copyright in my footer which must be enough.
I want my URL in pictures which are used from my gallery and keep the originals for my own use to print them and use them in other media.
well the point of on the fly is where people choose to show a watermark over an image but not destory it. permanent watermarking basically creates a new image based on your uploaded image with a watermark stamped to it.
