How to use another Installation as a Template?

Hello,

I have a nice PhotoPost up and running standalone. Now I want to use this existing installation as a template for a new installation, including all files.

I would copy the whole existing PhotoPost directory to another directory and export and import the database. Then make adjustments.

But: I do not need any of the old categories and pictures, which are in the database too, only configurations and the files from the filesystem. Is there a way to purge pictures an categories?

Any idea? Thank you in advance!

Well you would purchase another installation if your setting up a second site and you would install the software on your new site.

If your stylesheet header and footer your referring to is what you want to copy over then simply copy the stylesheets directory and header footer html files over to get the same look.
