Uploaded photos Not appearing

HI Chuck

Ive recently moved my server and while my gallery displays Fine, all images are there, all clickable and working correctly, ive noticed if i upload a photo, it does not display after the upload completes.

I get no errors, it tells me proccessing complete, but the images simply arent there.

I tested with a couple of jpg pics, and they seem to go through ok.

What could be causing this?

thanks

well did you correct all server paths when you moved?

Have you verified the new server allows file uploads? Is the file you are uploading under the 2mb php filesize limit?

Basically more info would be needed for me to comment.

Url login and link to phpinfo would help.

hmm

Just tried another upload, and went absoluteley fine, so i think its a filesize issue.

I guess it puzzled me that i recieved no error, and got message upload was successful.

Thanks for looking

well you can try the flash uploader to see if it helps but a the issue is this.

On a server you have PHP and its settings. The program is restricted by those php settings. If you try uploading a file thats larger than the php settings then what happens is the server stops the process drops the file and there is nothing to process so the program goes about its normal process thinking there is nothing more to process which is the message you get so it can be confusing but the server comes before the program so there is nothing we can do to prevent that part.

Thank you for the explanation

Turns out on new server, php max filesize was indeed 2meg.

Now adjusted for my needs, issue resolved
