Need Help Fixing Path

Hello...
I have 2 photopost galleries integrated in my site. We recently did a domain switch and now we cannot upload any images. I am not familiar with the workings on Photo Post and was told it has to do with the paths of the directory.

I need help to fix this problem. Would appreciate any assistance as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chuck, I'm Addie, the Admin site assistant for TDSE. Let me give some more information here in hopes that you can possibly shed some light on this issue, or direct us to a service ticket so we can get a tech to come in and assist...hopefully.

Ok, last week, we had both of these galleries
TDS Products Gallery - Main Index
http://www.thedailyscrapper.com/galelrylo
under main domain deofavente.net/thedailyscrapper

the move we are talking about was that we asked teh server folks if we could name "thedailyscrapper" sub-domain a "main domain" and in doing so, we moved both galleries out of the "thedailyscrapper" sub-domain and moved the to the root of the site here: /home4/deofaven/public_html/gallerypp/
they used to be here: /home4/deofaven/public_html/thedailyscrapper/gallerypp/
same with other one from: /home4/deofaven/public_html/thedailyscrapper/gallerylo/
to /home4/deofaven/public_html/gallerylo/

with this move, I have updated the paths to match, but in doing so, all our data for 2009-2010 for gallerypp is no longer displaying. I can assume that it "is" a path issue, but I have checked and re-verified all the paths, and nothing is working. I got in touch with our server techs and they made a huge mess and their take on all this was: we can't fix, talk to photopost, and hug up on us.

So here I am, with this huge issue, trying to get these paths correctly to get all our data (which is intere I can see it) to display for our TDS Products Gallery - Main Index sit

..site.

sorry got cut-off on my last post. I saw your post on the paths thread and server move, and still cannot come up with anything. LIke I said, me and the server techs must be really dense, but we can't get this thing to work. Any suggestions?

Hugs Addie

You have deleted ALL your photos using a wrong path. Restore a database backup and correct the paths and you should be okay.

You need to make sure paths are correct in admin global options and storage options. I can take a quick peek at your paths if I had an admin login but you need to restore any data etc.

I am positive it's a path issue, but the photos are all there, I have re-checked the "data" folder and they are all there. Now, I would be forever in your debt if you would checkt his for me.
When you say restore a back-up, how do I do that? Is that an option availble in admin panel? or is this done some other way. I have never done a back-up that I know of....I hope there is a way to retrieve all the information & images that are already in my "data" folder in my server.

where can I send you the login information?
Thank you in advance again. Hugs Addie

Ok Chuck, I think I follow you on what you say having deleted all the photos using the wrong path. I have the correct paths now, and now I'm just struggling with a database restore.
I am assuming that this my gallery msqul database, which i'm having a heck of a time trying to get an earlier date for restoration.
With that said, I think we can close this request Chuck, unless I am way off base here, here is my final understanding: If I cannot restore my database that contained all my 2009-2010 images, then I am starting over with my gallery correct?

An update Chuck so I don't leave you hanging, I managed a database restore, and that did it. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
