| Setting Photo Size?
is there a way to set the photos on my site to only be 800X600 (600x800) without a link under them to enlarge the photo(s)?

Sure for new photos!!
Now you cant get rid of mediums that already exist.
In admin upload options set medium to 0. Set your max image dimensions to 800 x 600 etc
That should be all you need to do for new images.

Thanks Chuck,
I am having another problem now. Is there anyway that I can set both sizes?
800x600 horizontal photos & 600x800 for vertical photos

Well you would use your threshold set to 800x800 to do both.

yep that means if your width or height is 800 it resizes down.
It will keep aspect ratio thats why you do it 800x800 not 800x600

When I try to water mark all photos at once only some of the photos on my site get's water marked. Also is there anyway that I can automatically water mark photos when they are uploaded?

You can watermark photos via permanent watermark which is setup in watermark options
You can watermark photos via an overlay photo using the settinga in image protection settings
which one are you using?
If only some photos set watermarked then that means other photos have already been watermarked or the wmarked field in the database says they are

Hi Chuck,
This is how it is set up....
Admin>Watermark Options
Enable watermarking of photos with overlay image? Yes
If enabled, position of overlay watermark on images. SouthEast
Full server path to watermark overlay image.: My url to watermark image
it watermarks the newer photos on my site but not the older photos. The older photos do not have any water marks.

My url to watermark image
that should be server path FYI
Anyway yes its only designed to watermark new images
However you can use the admin scan database watermark images that are not watermarked feature
However as noted thats only going to watermark images that have the watermark field in the photos table set to no. If its yes then it does not touch them.

how do I set the server path?
I also tried do it under Scan database> "Check here to watermark unwatermarked files.
This action cannot be undone - backup your data directory and photos database!"
but nothing happens. it just checks photos.

Then the only answer is your watermarked field in the photos table says yes not no.
If a file is not watermarked it should be set to no by default. If the watermarked field is yes then the admin script will never do anything

I am referring to the actual database field. if thats already set to yes then the image would never be watermarked again.

There is nothing to change you must not be following me.
I am simply saying is if the field value is yes then a photo can not be watermarked.
