html or bbcode in image description?

I want to have links in my image description ("Click here to buy this image")

I do not have this particular gallery integrated with a forum, and I don't need a forum, it's purely a gallery.

Can I use BBcode or html to create the links?

well you can show bbcode html and direct links in a standalone gallery. You can use basic bbcode also in descriptions we parse those.
