The avatars are naturally half the size of your main avatars Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
You can change the .5 to a 1 in pp-inc.php to make them bigger

tried that and it didn't make a difference. Even tried rebuilding thumbs afterward. Could it be the template causing problems? Would be specific only to the photopost page

I will give that a try. Thank you sir!
update: did the trick. Seems the custom style had small icon boxes 16px vs the default 48px

..I tried this change a while back and the forum icons got much larger in VB4. so I had to change back as that looked silly. Also the alignment of the PP icons got messed up a bit by the change.
Could the PP Index not use its own icon style, so we can have larger icons and get the comments column back on VB4 sites? I for one would welcome a change like that.
As things stand the tiny icons on all PP7/VB4 sites do seem to make them all look poor photos sites, as you just can't make out what the images are they are so tiny. Being able to set their size with ease would be great.

You could create your own icon style in vb sure and then edit our pp-inc.php change the forumicon class for vb4 to something else.

Chuck,
I did try that, made it something2 and it worked.. but it chucked everything out of line in the photopost index page and I didn't really know enough to get it all back into line again. VB has a neat 'additional CSS' file that you can add new things to and they work across PP too I think.
As every Photopost7/VB4 site looks poor with the really tiny icons I assumed it would be fixed in an update anyway and gave up attempting to do it on a personal basis.
Also it doesn't bring back the missing column of comments on the index page, that vanished even though turned on when we upgraded to VB4. Again I assumed it would come back as a fix for all PP7 users as it being missing seems not to make a lot of sense.
I hope the feedback is helpful.. PP/ VB sites could do with some small improvements in this side of things really, what happened when using VB4 settings is understandable but it would be good to get PP back to looking as good as it can.
All the best,
Steve

1. Adding styles to vb4 is on the radar for future releases but as noted we had a very limited time to release a vb4 compatible product.
2. Not sure what you mean about missing comment elements as nothing has changed for vb4 with commenting.

Chuck,
I totally understand how hard it is to cater for VB4.. I had the same trouble with my own bits and bobs and even now VB4 has a lot of its own functions that still need work.
Thankfully I suspect that changing the icon sizes will not be hard as even I sort of got it working, it was just getting the layout around them to line up well that defeated me.
The missing comment elements is something I mentioned when we first moved to VB4.
The change to VB4 totally removed the column for last comments on the index page, even though it is turned on in admin.
You can see it is missing on your own site since you went to VB4 too: A community photo gallery - ReefTalk Gallery
Steve
PS: Another thing wrong on that page on your site is that the arrows after last photo uploads are up tight against the text when viewed with IE8 here.
It may look better in some other browsers but most folks are probably seeing it look bad in IE8 as it seems to be the No1 browser.
We worked around that on our site by making the arrow graphic larger with a see through left side to it.

Steve there is no lastest comments in vb4 anymore we actually made a full vb4 tableless category display mocking the forum look.
I can look at icon spacing thats not a problem but we use the vb forum display there so let me see whats not working right in IE

Chuck,
I see. Admin still offers the option to display it but it isn't there. Seems a shame as there is masses of room for it and it is of course something that looked good, was useful, and was displayed for many years.
Looking like the forums is okay I suppose.. but an extra column would not hurt at all, the same as larger icons won't. Displaying photos and thumbnails and so on will always look a lot different to displaying just text I guess, as in forums.
I added an attachment to my last message to show it wasn't displaying the comments column - I guess you don't need that for that now.. It also shows the arrows against the words though so at least it demonstrates that effect.

Chuck would this be acceptable to add in pp-inc.php for that space between the name and image ?
like so Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
