config files not updating

When I change any variables in config-int.php or inc.php and save them, the changes don't save.

Also, when I upload a picture it just goes to a blank screen. I'm assuming that the config files not saving probably have something to do with it.

are your config files 666 permission?

Yes they are both at 666

Interesting I would need to see this site url admin login and ftp info to comment about that. Maybe something in the server setup preventing it is all I can think.

also I can't change the mogrify for Image Magick since the config files won't save

Ok, it was my fault. I had chosen the wrong database name in the config file. Amazing.

So now I'm trying to figure out where mogrify is. Image Magick is installed but is mogrify something differently installed?

mogrify is imagemagick

Usually locations are

/usr/local/bin/mogrify

/usr/bin/mogrify
