Moving Pro integration from vb3.8 to clean install of 4.0.3

My Photopost Pro gallery (7.01) is currently integrated with my vBulletin 3.8.4 forum. I am planning to move to a vBulletin 4.0.3 forum (CMS) but rather than upgrading, it will be a clean install.

What steps will I need to take to switch my Photopost integration to the new forum? (Photopost database is separate from forums)

photopost is separate from vb? You have lots of work to do

1. You are going to have to import your photopost users into vb using there impex script.

2. You are going to have to clear out the usergroups table in photopost database.

3. You will need to reinstall photopost to integrate into vb4 making sure you use the same photopost database tables so you keep your content.

4. You will need to run from our import scripts forum the userfix script to reassign userids properly in photopost after you do everything above and are working with vb4.

Thanks Chuck... one more question - if I were able to find a way to successfully upgrade my vB instead of doing a clean install, would I need to do all of the above? So far, tests of the upgrade have not worked but if it would make the Photopost part easier, I may keep trying...

If you are already integrated with vb then all you need to do is upgrade photopost and run the photopost install to point to the proper vb if its separate

If you upgrade your current vb and photopost is tied to that one then simply upgrade the forum and upgrade photoost no config changes.

Anytime you change to integrate somewhere else you need to change settings.

I upgraded my vB 3.8 to 4.02 and now there seems to be something wrong with the integration because my log-in isn't holding when I try to access Photopost and I also can't get into my Photopost admin account.

I uploaded the upgrade files for Photopost 7.02 but didn't not actually run the upgrade.php script because there is no option to go from 7.01 to 7.02 (and I later saw that running the script is not necessary). I have doublechecked that all of the config-inc.php settings match the previous ones.

Now I'm stuck... how do I get back into my Photopost admin and how do I get the integration back?

Think I have it figured out. Cleared the cache & re-uploaded the old config files and now it seems to be working.

The upgrade is from 6.2 to 7.0

there is no upgrade to go from 7.0 to 7.01 or 7.02
