Most recent block title

When I enable the Most recent block on my index page, the block is showing

'Most Recent . Most Popular . Random'

When I enable the Random block, the block is showing the same thing.

It's confusing for end-users.

But the 'Most popular' block is only showing 'Most popular' in the title of that block.

I'd like the Most Recent block to only show 'Most Recent'.

Same thing for the 'Random' block.

Is that possible?

You would have to modify your display_gallery function in pp-inc.php

The active block title is bold in those blocks and that is the ajax which is why the links are like that.

It's not in bold. And not in order either. The Random block, the Random text is unclickable, but still in 3rd place.

Even when I disable the VB Integration and Forum stylesheet integration.

I wish to make it more user-friendly.

The active block is indeed bold

That whole thing is ajax which means you can click one of those links and load new photos without loading the page.

As stated your free to modify the display_gallery function to suit your specific needs but from a support perspective I have to respond based on how its coded by the products developer to function.

Even in your User demo and other customer galleries, the active block is not bold. Not only that, the active Most Recent block only has the Most Recent text. The Random block from PhotographyBlog Gallery is the same. It only writes Random.

I don't like modifying code, because when I upgrade, I lose all these modifications.

I will if I have to. But why in your demo and other galleries it works like I want to, but the product doesn't work like that?

I mean, did everyone have to modify the code to make it work like that?

well I think thats a style issue me looking at a gallery because link colors style and a non link color can vary by style on the gallery I looked at there was a clear style difference between the links and non links

Your gallery should be working just like everyone elses you wanted to modify your lines to remove certain wording if I am not mistaken which is what this discussion was about modifying your code to suit you. Its not really a function or product support but if I have time as you know I post up little mods to assist people although company support is not provided for those little tidbits.
