Error When Uploading Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1 Command: "/usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 0x100 -quality 70 -geometry 0x100 '/var/www/html/photos/data/500/thumbs/47909166_009368324-1.jpg' Any ideas? |
Have you checked your permissions are 777 on the data directory at every level? If you try using GD2 as the image processor do things process fine? |
All permission on data directory and within are 777. When I use ImageMagick, I get the following... Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1 Command: "/usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 0x100 -quality 70 -geometry 0x100 '/var/www/html/photos/data/500/thumbs/47913237_009368324-1.jpg' When I use GD2 I get the following... (): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet. |
The permissions or path appears wrong then thats the standard permissions error. safe mode off? |
Just checked permissions on that directory again - all 777 and all the folders within. Safe mode is off by default on our server, but I checked again. Any other ideas? |
Also, just upgraded from 7.0.0 to the very latest 7.0.2. Still the same issue. |
You can send us a url admin login ftp login to take a look but the answer still is the same. You can do a search here and you will find the issue is exactly what I am saying. If your getting that permissions error safe mode has to be on or the path/permissions are wrong on the data directory. The simple fact that both image processors spit out permissions errors tells me this. |
Yes, that's the same conclusion I came to when reading through some of these threads, so I went and checked again. I checked our php.ini file, and it definitely says 'safe_mode = Off', and I've been assured by our host that Safe Mode is off for sure. I then went and checked our directory /var/www/html/photos/data/ That folder and all subsequent folders are 777, so I'm a bit stuck |
Nope, I just tried a couple of other things, but I'm completely stumped. I'll send you some Admin Stuff. I hope I don't take up too much of your time Chuck. Thanks for this. How would you like me to send you the log on and passwords etc? |
through the contact us link in our header ;) Graham the data directory has to be 777 at every level meaning the thumbs medium and mini directories underneath the data numeric directories not sure if you checked those as your reply seems to mean the data directory and the numeric directories underneath it. I would also check your path has it changed is it really the /var/www/html anyway I will await site details. |

Yes, all folders are set to 777. Also, /var/www/html/photos/data - is correct. Will send you the log on details |
no problem |
Hi Chuck - Did you receive the details I sent you? I sent them using the 'Contact Us' box at the top of your home page. Graham |
