Forbidden/Permission Error in Admin

Hi, Chuck!

Hope you're doing well and having a nice weekend.

Had some users report "forbidden" issues uploading photos, which I believe had something to do with spammer IP bans I'd recently put in place at the forum. However, I'm having similar issues trying to edit "All Options" in gallery admin. I receive the following error:

Forbidden: You don't have permission to access /gallery/adm-misc.php on this server.

I don't seem to have trouble editing anything else in Admin. I've also updated changed files to 7.0.2, yet the error persists. Permissions on this file don't seem to matter either. It was on 644 when I started; 777 has the same result.

Any ideas? Thanks much!

The file should be 644

My suggestion is if you did some kind of server level bans changes then back those out and try again maybe you messed up an IP range etc because the error your getting is not script related its server related looks like to me.

Thanks, Chuck! As usual, you are correct. It was my host, who changed some server security thing or another. They whitelisted, now things work properly. Yay!

Have a great day!
