Extra Text Fields

Hi,

We created 2 additional text fields in the admin under category editor. Every category has the same 2 additional text fields.

One of the fields is used to place a link to the product in our store. The issue is that when the image is shown, that link adds an amp; to the url and of course does not link properly. I think I know how to fix it, I just can't find where the line of code is for the additional text fields.

I thought it would be in showphoto.php and what I have is:

$extra1 = un_htmlspecialchars(convert_markups($extra1));
$extra2 = un_htmlspecialchars(convert_markups($extra2));
$extra3 = un_htmlspecialchars(convert_markups($extra3));
$extra4 = un_htmlspecialchars(convert_markups($extra4));
$extra5 = un_htmlspecialchars(convert_markups($extra5));
$extra6 = un_htmlspecialchars(convert_markups($extra6));

which I thought covered all the extra fields but maybe I am wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rick

well I dont see anywhere in our code where we convert anything into & on the additional extra fields

That stuff is basically processed from an array of variables and inputted into the database exactly as you type it. It is shown the same way also

You can try editing your showphoto.php and maybe adding the line in bold as noted where I put it here to see if that helps you.

Code:
